"I contacted Progress Financial Recovery Ltd (“PFR”) after incurring legal fees of nearly £8,000 defending myself against a spurious claim for extra work from builders I had used to construct an extension to my home. That claim was dismissed at County Court level, and all my legal costs were awarded against the builders. They tried to avoid recovery of those costs by every means possible. I used all recommended legal routes to recover the debt, but the High Court Enforcement Officer appointed to collect the money was unable to help.
